Local clubs adhere to by-laws that are part of Kiwanis International.  Amendments to the by-laws may be proposed annually by a majority of the House of Delegates at any international convention or by a two-thirds vote of the elected leadership.

Local clubs are governed by a President and a board of directors elected by the membership.
