NCHS Key Club Highlights from the 2006 Key Club Convention
by - Debi Smith NCHS Key Club Advisor
We had a great time, and it was a learning/growing experience for all of our girls (no boys this year). Thanks again for your support of our club.Following is a summary: Our poster won 2nd place in non-traditional scrapbook division (we received a plaque for this). We received a patch for our future banner for raising over $250 for UNICEF this past year.Utah and Idaho Key Clubs raised over $7,300 for the Kick Aids out of Africa program!
Impromptu Essay Contest – Rosie Kringel won 3rd and Sara Riggins won 1st place. They received plaques for their wins. The convention attendees raised $619.21 for Children’s Miracle Network through the penny war.
Our own Dani Claar ran for Lt. Gov. but lost by a narrow margin. I am so proud of our Clubbers, as I am sure you are as well.
