Unclaimed Money Found in the Nampa Club

Curtis Whiting and Melonie Wade from the Idaho Tax Commission - Unclaimed Property Department presented a very revealing program that allowed us to understand how Unclaimed Property is handled and who in our chapter may have a valid Claim. Of the $28,000,000 in Unclaimed Property there were 9 members of the Nampa Kiwanis Chapter that had unclaimed property listed in their data bases.  That beat the national average of 1 in 10 that have unclaimed property, we had a ration of 1 in 8.

David Ferdinand and another member were present to receive a claim notification.  Carl D. Hamilton, Peter E. Jensen, Jerry Hale, Dan Vestal, and George M. Asselin all had claims, but were not present to claim them.  Mike Munson has the claim forms if you want to come to the next meeting he will be happy to give them to you.
